The Canberra Model Railway Club Inc. will be presenting their 38th Annual Model Railway Expo at UC High School Kaleen on Saturday and Sunday, the 20th and 21st March 2027.
Layouts The Expo will display some of the best model railway layouts from around NSW, VIC and the ACT. These layouts have been meticulously created by other clubs and individuals and showcase their excellent modelling skills. The layouts vary in size and show examples of modelling scales as well as methods of operation.
Trade Suppliers Access to some of Australia’s manufacturers and retailers of model locomotives and rolling stock will be available. Suppliers of quality modelling equipment and materials will also be on hand to provide advice and satisfy your hobby needs, no matter what it is that you model. A second-hand stall will be in operation to enable patrons to purchase locomotives, carriages and buildings for their own layouts.
Activities The Club’s U-Drive will be on display to enable children the opportunity to operate trains on a layout, as well as a live steam powered tractor engine for rides. Food, coffee and drink vendors will be operating during the Expo.
Parking There is plenty of free off-street parking at the event. Parking marshals and signage will direct you to suitable parking.
